White Peak Rum
Cask-Aged Derbyshire Rum
A rum to savour.
A long, 30-day fermentation gives White Peak Rum real depth of flavour and complexity, all coming from the distilled spirit. White Peak Rum is a vatting of three unique cask types: ex-bourbon casks from Heaven Hill Distillery, Virgin Oak cask with a level 4 char from Kelvin Cooperage, and ex-red wine casks (STR) from Dias Cooperage in Portugal. The three different cask maturations contribute to the complexity and layers of flavour from nose to finish. This is an amazing rum to drink neat, or add ginger ale and a wedge of lime for a longer drink.
Distilled, matured, and bottled in Derbyshire. 50% ABV.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Cream soda, tinned peaches, candied ginger, fruit salad sweets
Palate: Cinnamon buns, vanilla cheesecake, liquorice all sorts, lemon sherbet
Finish: Butterscotch, banana, chilli flakes
