Tobermory 25yo Oloroso Finish - Hebridean Series

Tobermory 25 Year Old is a tribute to Mull’s rich crofting heritage. A way of life built on resilience, dedication, and a deep connection to the land. Inspired by the weathered crofter’s cottages that dot the island, this exceptional single malt reflects the craftsmanship and ingenuity passed down through generations. Just as the island’s crofters have long shaped the landscape with care, we craft our whisky with the same reverence, honouring tradition while embracing the spirit of innovation.
 
Originating from the beloved and now-archived Tobermory 15 Year Old, this limited edition single malt was first matured in ex-Bourbon casks. After years of careful ageing, it was further enriched with an additional 10 years in the finest González Byass Oloroso Sherry casks.

TASTING NOTES
Nose: the comforting warmth of freshly baked bread weaves through sweet candied orange peel and rich butterscotch. A gentle dusting of cocoa adds depth, while a hint of cinnamon spice lingers in the background.
Palate: juicy blackcurrant jam, ripe peaches, and zesty lemon peel unfold gracefully, giving way to the delicate sweetness of honeyed almonds and creamy coconut. A soft floral note drifts through, lifted by a refreshing touch of mint.
Finish: a lingering, spice-kissed farewell, where the warmth of nutmeg meets the delicate sweetness of poached pears, leaving a beautifully balanced and satisfying impression.
