Stagg Batch 22B is a barrel-strength bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, based in Frankfort, Kentucky. With an alcohol content of 65%, this high-proof spirit contains a mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley. Aged for 6 to 9 years in new, charred oak barrels, it is bottled without chill filtration, retaining heavier molecules that contribute to its flavour and mouthfeel. Buffalo Trace is one of the oldest continuously operating distilleries in the United States, dating back to 1773.
