Springbank 21 yo (2025 release)

The 2025 release of Springbank Distillery's 21-year-old core expression, this single malt Campbeltown whisky is creamy and luxurious. Bottled at 46% abv, this smooth sipping number has been matured in a combination of 65% Port, 25% bourbon, 5% rum and 5% Sherry casks.
 
Expect a nose of Medjool dates and sticky toffee pudding notes initially, followed by rich treacle, stewed plums and a burst of blood orange zest. Delicate peat smoke lingers in the background. On the palate, the peat smoke continues, along with notes of smoked figs, caramelised brown sugar, cigar box, blackberries and Iberico ham. Finally, the finish is full of banana bread, cinnamon spice and savoury, earthy notes.
