Aon means "one" in Gaelic and represents Nc'Nean's collection of unrepeatable, single cask bottlings. Made from 100% organic Scottish barley, distilled using 100% renewable energy and bottled in a 100% recycled bottle. This bottle was distilled in 2017 and aged for a total of 8 years. Originally, it was matured in a first-fill bourbon cask and then moved into a Moscatel cask in 2023.
Tasting Notes:
Nose:
Apricot jam on buttered toast, honeyed porridge oats, almond pastry and a soft herbal lift.
Palate:
Raspberry liquorice, vanilla cream, toasted brioche, floral honey and a warm, gentle spice.
Finish:
Orange blossom, nectarines, sultanas, and a softly drying wine sweetness.
