Chichibu distillery was founded by Ichiro Akuto, former manger, and grandson to the founder of Hanyu distillery. The 2022 release of the London Edition from Chichibu is blend of nine casks, including Cognac, oloroso, and chibidaru casks. The edition had an outturn of 1,861 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Aromas of pear tart tatin with fresh vanilla, toasted coconut, mango and guava. The palate is full of tropical fruit and incense spice.
