Glengoyne 15yo

Glengoyne's 15 year old is a Highland single malt made from 100% malted barley and aged in a trio of casks: 20% first-fill bourbon casks, 25% first-fill sherry casks, and 55% refill casks. That balance makes this a sweet, smooth delightful little sipper. There isn't a peep of peat to be found in this Highland single malt Scotch whisky, which uses air-dried barley in its kilning process.
 
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Hints of candied lemon and a touch of butterscotch. Creamy cereal sweetness and dried fruits, with Demerara sugar.
Palate: Oily, rich palate entry with notes of toffee popcorn, salted butter and hints of ground walnuts. Allspice and lemon rinds, and baked apple.
