Glenfiddich 21yo Gran Reserva - Single Malt

Finished for four months in casks that previously nurtured Caribbean rum to maturity this is Glenfiddich with a tropical twist. The 21 Year Old Gran Reserva mingles Glenfiddich’s signature orchard fruit orange zest floral honey and oak flavours with the tropical fruit sweet caramel exotic spice marmalade mocha ginger beer and brown sugar of the rum influence. The experience is a little like eating apple pie with a cocktail on the side during a heatwave in Scotland. Reassuringly familiar meets holiday vibes.
 
Glenfiddich was founded by William Grant in 1887 and today represents the world's most awarded single malt Scotch. Still managed by William’s descendants and still using the same water source Glenfiddich continue to evolve improve and innovate and the whiskies released have never been better.
 
Nose: Barley sugar, malt and dark brown sugar, with orange peels, marmalade, manuka honey, chocolate and foam bananas.
Palate: Full, fruitcake, spices, buttery vanilla, malty, with oak and candied ginger.
Finish: Long, with notes of mochaccino and marmalade.
