This special release is a testament to the art of barrel ageing, beginning its journey with Wold Top Brewery’s award-winning Marmalade Porter. Initially matured in ex-Filey Bay whisky casks, the porter imbues the wood with its rich, marmalade essence. These seasoned casks then serve as the final maturation vessels for the Filey Bay single malt, creating a harmonious blend of flavours. Limited to just 2000 bottles and bottled at a robust 50%, the Filey Bay Porter Cask Finish is a symphony of complexity and richness. Each sip unveils layers of orange chocolate and roasted malt, intertwined with the warmth of baked apples and the sweet allure of candied fruits.
