An elegant and fruity dram for you here, from a sadly leaky old cask…
The nose is softly waxy, with apple rings, dessert wine, banana and custard, sponge fingers, spearmint, thyme and citrussy hops. The palate is super-clean and precise, with lemon oil, barley sugar, spearmint, mirabelle syrup, banana bread and candied peel.
A properly classy drop, this, from a distillery that’s still often criminally underrated.
