I’m delighted to be able to offer a bottling from maybe the best of Scotland’s new wave of distilleries!
The nose has pine wood smoke, new car, frying bacon in a cast-iron pan, olive oil, Sauternes, and smoked tropical fruits – there’s a lot happening! The palate has big, chunky, sweet peat, with banana cream, pineapple cake, tar, first-aid kit, Flake chocolate, brine and sweet lemon.
There’s just tons of personality crammed into this young malt. You can’t go wrong.
This first-fill bourbon barrel produced 248 bottles at a cask strength of 61.0%
