Ardnamurchan AD/ Paul Launois

This spectacular single malt from Ardnamurchan is a limited release of the Highland Scotch whisky, finished in 195 litre Champagne barriques from Domaine Paul Lanois. For the 2023 edition, the unpeated whisky was bottled at a cask strength of 57.1% ABV, non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, with a total of 2,676 bottles available.
 
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Toast with marmalade, dried vine fruits, soft oak, and alpine herbs.
Palate: Woody spice, with drying oak, candied citrus, green grapes, some vanilla, and peppery spice.
Finish: Black pepper lingers along with vanilla.
