George T. Stagg was the force behind the most influential American distillery of the 19th century, a golden era famously dubbed the Gilded Age of Bourbon. His signature creation? A robust bourbon whiskey that’s uncut and unfiltered, maturing for nearly a decade to embody the bold spirit of its namesake.

Released only twice a year in limited batches by Buffalo Trace Distillery, this is a rare treat that's famously elusive amongst bourbon aficionados. Stagg Jr is uncut, unfiltered and aged for nearly a decade in American white oak casks to gather the bold character that is reminiscent of the distillery's founder, George T. Stagg. Presented at a robust barrel strength of 62.95%, on a layer of bold rye spice. On the close, hints of cherry, cloves and smoke arise and fade in a glorious lingering finish.
