Released in limited batches by Buffalo Trace Distillery, this is a rare treat that's famously elusive amongst bourbon aficionados. Stagg is uncut, unfiltered and aged for nearly a decade in American white oak casks to gather the bold character that is reminiscent of the distillery's founder, George T. Stagg. Presented at a robust barrel strength of 64.45% (128.9 proof), on a layer of bold rye spice. On the close, hints of cherry, cloves and smoke arise and fade in a glorious lingering finish.
