Bunnahabhain Islay Whisky Hand Filled Caorag Cask 2020. Bunnahabhain “Caorag” 2020: a softly smoky, ultra-limited snapshot of Islay - captured one bottle at a time, only for those who made the pilgrimage to Warehouse 9. Drawn straight from a lone cask in Warehouse 9 and filled at the visitor centre in January 2020, “Caorag” is a distillery-only bottling that marries peated and un-peated Bunnahabhain spirit for a gently smoky twist on the house style. The name is said to be Gaelic for “little peat,” a playful nod to that subtle smoke（though traditional dictionaries translate caorag as “small sheep”).
 
Please note that upon transport to the shop, there are signs that this bottle leaked slightly and it is now at mid-shoulder level. This is reflected on the pricing too (as equivalent bottles elsewhere go for nearly £200).
