Arran Remnant Renegade Signature #1

Presenting the first release in Arran's new Signature Series. This interesting release is a marriage of several remnant casks - remnants are small amounts of whisky remaining in the cask after a bottling run - which include ex-sherry hogsheads and butts as well as ex-bourbon casks. These remnants span the entire history of distilling at Lochranza, from as early as a few years after they began, until as recently as 2017. They were hand selected and blended by Distillery Manager, Stewart Bowman, and this special release has been bottled with no added colour and non chill-filtered. 
 
Tasting Notes
Nose: Toffee apples, vanilla, cinnamon spice, really clean and prominent orange blossom notes, star anise. 
Palate: Silky smooth and balanced, light liquorice, menthol herbs, honey.
